We want to hear from you!
The city of Arma is looking at getting what is called "Text caster". This is an app you get on your cellular devices that will alert you immediately when something is happening in Arma that you need to be aware of. This will not cost the residents of Arma anything! You do not need Wi-Fi to have it either. The city of Arma would love your feedback on what you think about this product and if it would be helpful to the residents of Arma. To give us your feedback you can go to the main page of this website. Go to the contact page, put in your info and send it off! We thank you for your support as the Residents of Arma and can't wait to hear what you think!

Important information about the maintenance happening on the City of Armas water tower from Tom,
As you probably know we lost a lot of water pressure last night so I
wanted to give you an update on what's going on and what we are trying to do to make sure it doesn't happen again.
The problem was the demand this time of year exceeded what Bone Creek was able to supply so our system was just about emptied. When this happened Jay from Bone Creek allowed us to partly open a bypass valve feeding a bigger line into our system which brought the pressure back up and refilled our South Tower overnight so we are back to normal for now. The bad thing is that the bypass line that we partially opened is "un-metered" so Bone Creek can't tell how much water they are sending us. I am meeting with Jay to discuss what options we can pursue, and I've informed Chuck Kunshek who handles the water for Franklin, that he will have to tie on to the other Rural Water district as we are going to have to turn Franklin off for now later today.
I also asked Piper to not open the pool today but our plan is for one of us to start coming in at 5 am and fill the pool before people start
waking up and using water.
I will keep you up to date on what is going on. If you have any ideas
please share them with us.
Also, I have been in contact with Cless from the beginning of the
project and even last night to make sure we are doing everything the way they did it last time (about 17 yrs ago).
So we are doing our best to get everything right.
Thanks!
